Wine: Titus Vineyards, Napa Valley CA

January is finally coming to a close, but looks like the cold weather in NYC is staying a while. Away from the frigidness, this is what a Cabernet Franc harvest at Titus Vineyards estate in Napa Valley, California looks like!

Once the fruit is received at the winery and placed into the tank, these bad boys take 14 days to ferment. The result is a bright and perfumed aromatic wine, with hints of cherry, red currant, Mexican chocolate, and dried basil. This vineyard has a modern looking wine tasting facility in a cozy farmhouse environment, which sounds like a dream that takes place far from the east coast! Good thing you can purchase a bottle here and settle indoors with a red wine that can be enjoyed perfectly with a fine dish of salmon, roasted chicken, or a leg of lamb. We loved this one, but there are many more fantastic options!

Titus Vineyards winery is situated on a small hill overlooking the vineyards, allowing for sweeping southern and western views of the estate and beyond from the 24-foot-wide glass wall and masses of windows.
